Anna Paquin: “I am bisexual"...AND SHE DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN







Actress Anna Paquin has revealed she is bisexual as part of a new celebrity campaign for equal rights.

The actress, who is engaged to marry her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, has come out as part of a Public Service Announcement A gay rights campaign that features a declaration of bisexuality by Anna Paquin has received so much traffic that its Web site crashed.
The campaign was launched Thursday by Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Fund. The Web-based initiative hopes to educate for “the advancement of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality.” The campaign drew particular interest because the video features Paquin, the 27-year-old star of HBO’s “True Blood,” declaring she’s bisexual.
The Web site, wegiveadamn.org, said Friday that it was “overwhelmed” by the “enormous traffic.” Additional servers have been added.The video also includes appearances by Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg, Jason Mraz, Cynthia Nixon and others.
(PSA) taped for Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund, which fights for the rights of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community.
The ad features a number of celebrities, including openly gay stars Sir Elton John and Cynthia Nixon, pledging their support to the foundation's Give A Damn campaign for equality. In the clip, Paquin declares, "I'm Anna Paquin. I'm bisexual, and I give a damn."
She also urges viewers to: "Imagine going to work every day and not being able to share your life with your co-workers out of fear of being let go."
Mya, Jason Mraz, Clay Aiken, Whoopi Goldberg, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne also appear in the PSA on www.wegiveadamn.org.
